MTI Invites Members to Audit Compliance Meeting and Reception Events at October Nadcap Meeting

MTI Members who have a stake in Nadcap accreditation and technical standard-setting—are invited to attend two informative Member only events during the upcoming October Nadcap meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. During these two events Members will have an open discussion on key audit and technical issues relevant to Nadcap audit compliance.

Both of MTI events will take place at the Embassy Suites Hotel, a two-minute walk from the Omni Penn Hotel where the Nadcap meeting is hosted.

Event Details

EVENT 1:  MTI Technical Meeting
When: Monday, October 20, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Where: Embassy Suites Hotel – Junior Grant Ballroom, Pittsburgh, PA
Facilitated by the Technical Standards Committee Co‑Chairs, Bob Ferry (FPM Heat Treating) and Ed Engelhard (Solar Atmospheres), the session will focus on:

  • Nadcap audit compliance and emerging technical issues
  • Updates on the latest ballots in the Nadcap checklist
  • Auditor consistency and expectations
  • Topics from the Heat Treat Task Group agenda
  • Ongoing specification activity from the AMEC Committee

EVENT 2: MTI Networking Reception
When:
 Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Where: Embassy Suites Hotel – The Ollie Gastropub, Pittsburgh, PA
This two-hour reception offers a unique opportunity for a relaxed and meaningful exchange with fellow Member heat treaters and suppliers. It’s the ideal forum to reflect on insights from Day 1, share ideas, and reinforce your industry network.
