This annual event brought together heat treaters and suppliers from across North America for a unique blend of professional growth, high-value networking, and tropical relaxation. Designed for owners and key executives, the Spring Meeting provided a powerful platform to connect, learn, and recharge.

During the 2 days of educational sessions, Members were energized by a lineup of  top experts in leadership and manufacturing innovation.  Members learned insight in:

  • Four Critical Decisions Successful People Make
Renowned speaker Kenn Kington delivered a high-energy session filled with humor, heart, and actionable strategies for living a balanced and purpose-driven life. He focused on the acronym F.A.I.R., what stands for the four traits leaders have. They are FOCUSED, they ANTICIPATE, they INITIATE action, and take RESPONSIBILTY for results.
  • Revitalizing Industry: The Impact and Opportunities of Reshoring
Harry Moser of the Reshoring Initiative shared how reshoring is reshaping global supply chains—and what it means for your business.
  • Fireside Chat: Industry Trends and Challenges
Members Shannon Ricciardo and Deidra Minerd led attendees through a full session of round table discissions focused on trucking/liability, arc flash safety, ChatGPT best practices, and using sensors for automation and efficiencies.
  • Leading Through Empowerment and Humanity
Filmaker and national speaker, Brett Culp, opened Members minds around the concept that “People are not a problem to solve, but a force to UNLEASH.”  He shared stories from his documentaries of ordinary people who have accomplished extraordinary things.

After the educational sessions were finished on day one, Members enjoyed the MTI Educational Foundation Fundraiser. Six teams competed in Beach Olympics to raise $3,750 for the MTI Foundation. It was an exciting event to participate in and watch.

Each night Members connected with one another over receptions and dinners to further expand their network of professional Members they can call on anytime for guidance, feedback, or best practices on audit or operational issues.

MTI Spring and Fall Meetings aren’t just meetings. They are energizing and inspiring experiences that connect you with key executives who can help you achieve high levels of success in your plants.
