The management team from the Metal Treating Institute (MTI) and producer of Furnaces North America 2026, convened this week in Indianapolis with officials from the Indiana Convention Center and the event’s host hotel to finalize planning details for Furnaces North America (FNA) 2026, taking place October 12–14.

The collaborative planning session focused on logistics, attendee experience, exhibitor layout, and programming enhancements for what will be the largest gathering of suppliers, buyers, and users in the heat-treating industry. Organizers anticipate welcoming more than 1,700 attendees and hosting over 150 exhibitors, showcasing the latest advancements in furnace technology, thermal processing, and manufacturing innovation.

“This on-site planning meeting is critical to ensuring a world-class experience for both attendees and exhibitors,” said show producer, Tom Morrison. “From floor layout to educational sessions and networking opportunities, every detail is being carefully coordinated with our venue partners.”

The Indiana Convention Center, known for its expansive exhibit halls and proximity to downtown amenities, will serve as the central hub for the three-day event. Its connected infrastructure and accessibility make it an ideal venue for hosting large-scale industrial exhibitions like FNA.

Key priorities discussed during the meeting included:

  • Optimizing exhibit hall flow to maximize exhibitor visibility and attendee engagement
  • Enhancing technical conference programming focused on industry trends, compliance, and innovation
  • Coordinating seamless logistics between the convention center and host hotel accommodations
  • Expanding networking opportunities for suppliers, manufacturers, and industry leaders

Furnaces North America is widely recognized as the premier event for buyer, decision makers, and influencers involved in heat treating and thermal processing. The event brings together equipment manufacturers, service providers, and end users from across North America and beyond.

In addition to the expansive exhibit floor, FNA 2026 will feature technical sessions and industry networking events designed to address the most pressing challenges, connections, and opportunities facing the industry.

Registration opens May 15. Full event details are available at www.furnacesnorthamerica.com
