Professional Bio
My name is Devon Huckstep, I am the Production Controller for Thermtech's Ryerson Facility. I began my heat-treat journey in June of 2021 when I started at Thermtech working on our IQ furnaces. After a few years of operating furnaces, Thermtech bought a new building in New Berlin, WI, and posted job listings for management at the new facility. I applied in February 2024, interviewed, and before I knew it I had business cards.
My duties include managing individual orders to ensure quality and timely completion of the product, managing production staff, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently.
On my personal time, I write songs and music, as well as perform around my local region of Waukesha, WI in bars, fairs, private parties, etc.
I've learned a lot in the last 5 years, but there's still much for me to take in and experience. I look forward to learning and growing with the MTI YES program!
