Professional Bio

- How did you get into the heat treating business?

I was introduced to the heat treating business back in 2013 when i started as a machining apprentice for Radyne. I had various responsibilities throughout my internship at Radyne which included coil manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and mechanical/electrical assembly.

My current role is not directly in the heat treating business but I directly interface with heat treaters to achieve the properties my customers need through our various vendors.

- What are your job responsibilities at your company?
My responsibilities at MetalTek International - Wisconsin Investcast are the following:
1. Design gating systems to provide the casting quality level the customer requires. This include 3D modeling and solidification simulation.
2. Create and maintain work instructions for making customer parts.
3. Create and maintain routings and BOMs.
4. Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, rework, and increase profit.

- What are your hobbies and things you love to do when you aren't working?
I love to spend time with the family and snowboard.
