Tim Levy Takes Gavel as 2017 President

One of the strengths of the Metal Treating Institute is the line of leadership it continues to produce year in and year out.  Over MTI’s 83 year history, it has benefited from strong leaders at the top, and 2017 will be no different.

MTI’s Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that Tim Levy, from Industrial Steel Treating in Jackson, Michigan, has taken the gavel as President for 2017.  Tim has served on the Board for 7 years, as well as leading MTI’s Benchmarking Committee the last several years.

Tim will be joined on the Executive Committee by Pat McKenna from Ipsen as Immediate Past President, Pete Hushek from Phoenix Heat Treating as In-Coming President for 2018, and Jim Oakes from Super Systems as Treasurer.  All are pictured below.

The Executive committee leads the full board made up of 15 commercial heat treaters and 2 supplier members pictured below.

MTI would like to welcome Bill Disler, President of AFC-Holcroft, who was elected to his first term as an Associate Board member.  To view a full listing of the Board of Trustees, CLICK HERE.

MTI would like to say “Thank You” to Brian Russell from Dry Coolers (6 years of service), and Jackie Peters from Peters’ Heat Treating (11 years of service) for their many years of service.  Both retired from the Board of Trustees at the Fall Meeting.
