This is a great meeting for executives from the Great Lakes Chapter to attend as well as an opportunity to reward high performing managers for a job well done. Enjoy the first hour networking with the best minds in heat treating while enjoying a bite to eat. CEO's and top executives from heat treating companies from all over the Great Lakes Chapter will be in attendance to share new ideas and solutions to the challenges as heat treat sales continue to rise.
1:00 pm - 1:15 pm: MTI Report on Industry Projects
2016 MTI President, Pat McKenna, will share the latest details on industry projects and updates in the areas of benchmarking, quality, technical standards and training.
1:15 pm - 2:15 pm General Session: Fire Safety... It Only Takes One
Fire is nothing to take lightly. With all of the gas, chemicals and oil inside and around a heat treat plant, it only takes a spark for a major disaster to take place. The questions are; do you have the proper safety prevention in place? Do your employees know what to do? Does the fire department have all they need to fight the fire effectively and not cause further damage? CEC Combustion Safety specializes in safety and training to ensure explosions do not occur in your plant. In this session, you will learn the keys to proper fire safety prevention measures, the elements you need to communicate to your local fire departments and protections you need to have in place to prevent a fire explosion from happening in your plant.

2016 is turning out to be a key year for manufacturing. With the heat of elections, a flat economy and the impact of global nations on manufacturing... where does it all lead for your heat treat company? MTI is pleased to host a key representative from the Ohio Manufacturers' Association who will share with you their perspective on the elections, what we can expect from either party in 2017 and what it means for the economy and your business.
3:15 pm - 4:45 pm: MAPS Air Museum Tour
Enjoy an amazing tour of the air museum taking in the history of flight that has made the aerospace industry great.
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Dinner & Reception
After a great day of speakers and tour of the museum, members will enjoy a full dinner and reception at the MAPS Air Museum.
