Keys to  Complying With New NIST, CMMC and DoD Rules 
Presented by Nick Espinosa from Security Fanatics
New rule changes coming out of the NIST standards, CMMC and DoD are complicated, extensive and could be expensive.  MTI's Office Cybersecurity Pro, Nick Espinosa from Security Fanatics will breakdown the compliance issues in layman's terms and help you understand the issues and steps surrounding CMMC compliance.  During Nick's presentation, he will also moderate a discussion from two MTI members who are deep in the process with NIST and CMMC compliance to bring a real world perspective and best practices in pursuing compliance.

Presented by Lauren Saidel-Baker, ITR Economics
ITR Economics has been predicting the 2020's to be a decade of big growth with a financial bump in the middle.  Lauren Saidel-Baker from ITR Economics will unpack the data behind the economy and connect the dots for growth within the MTI heat treat sales forecast and the eight industry sectors that drive heat treat sales.  Lauren will also dive into the 4 stages of economic growth, where heat treat sales and eight industry sectors are in each of the stages and how you can use their rates of change to forecast your companies future sales for more effective budgeting.

MTI's President, Don Hendry from Pinson Valley Heat Treating, along with a number of MTI Volunteer Leaders will share the latest news on MTI initiatives.

MTI Educational Foundation Fundraiser
They say the game of cornhole is typically reserved for college students and millennials.  Not at an MTI Meeting! You do not want to miss this exciting 2-hours of high energy competition where members will compete in teams to see who can gain the most points. Teams will play in a round robin tournament against 5 different teams with mini-breaks in between to refresh drinks and snacks and laugh a lot. It will be a fundraiser to remember with music, competition, drinks, and food all to raise money for scholarships with the MTI Educational Foundation.

Presented by Roy Adkins, Braddock Metallurgical and Heather Falcone, Thermal-Vac Technology, Inc.
In a recent survey, over 70% of members shared Technical Standards play a huge role in success of their business.  The big challenge is many members don't understand the process behind how the standards are designed, who designs them, the impact of the design process and how to comply with them.  Two of MTI's members highly involved in the design of the standards, Roy Adkins and Heather Falcone, will do a deep dive into how technical standards will increase in importance, key elements members need to connect in with standards, how they are designed and why you need to stay informed through MTI on changing specs.
