WEBCAST: Creating a Work Culture That Attracts and Retains Employees

When:  May 24, 2022 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)
Cultures exist within all organizations. People use the term culture frequently without defining what culture means as the concept appears obvious, taken-for-granted, or self-evident. Clearly defining culture and understanding how culture affects employees’ behaviors provides a necessary starting point for intentionally creating a culture that supports the organization’s objectives. An organization’s culture becomes increasingly important in the current employment market, where finding employees presents challenges. Developing a culture that attracts and supports people new to the heat-treating industry appears essential. Leaders play a significant role in creating and reinforcing the company’s current culture and provide a critical driver when change becomes necessary. The webcast aims to develop a deeper understanding of the term culture, provide mechanisms to define the culture that works for the organization, and create a plan to embed the culture within the organization. MTI's Tom Morrison will interview Tim Komar, Human Resource Director for ThermTech out of Waukesha, WI. Tim is a veteran in the heat treating industry in the final phase of his PhD in Organizational Leadership. Tim will provide practical action steps you can implement to improve your workplace culture to attract and retain employees. Don't miss it.
