Paulo Products Awarded 2020 Commercial Heat Treater of the Year Award

 

At its Fall Virtual Membership Update on December 2nd, the Metal Treating Institute (MTI), the largest network of heat treaters in the world, in partnership with Industrial Heating Magazine and the MTI Educational Foundation, recognized Paulo Products, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, with the Commercial Heat Treater of the Year Award.

 

This award is given to the company that demonstrates that they are making a positive impact on their community and their industry. The award is judged by a panel of past winners on the basis of quality programs, pollution & hazardous waste control, community involvement, and leadership. As the recipient of the award, Paulo Products received a professionally designed plaque along with a $3,000 donation from Industrial Heating Magazine and the MTI Educational Foundation to be presented to a high school senior or college student of their choice who is pursuing a degree in material science.

 

Paulo Products President, Ben Rassieur stated, “It is an honor to be recognized as the Commercial Heat Treater of the Year. The criteria for the award matches up with our company core beliefs and it is such a unique honor to be recognized from your industry for achieving excellence as a company in those specific areas.”

 

CEO of MTI Management, Tom Morrison, stated during the presentation, “It is always a great moment to recognize one of our members like Paulo Products, who exemplifies what it means to be committed to their customer, employees, and community. We are very proud to call them a member of MTI.”

 

Paulo Products has been an MTI member since 1950. 

 

The Metal Treating Institute, established in 1933, is an international non-profit trade association for the heat treating industry. MTI is based in Hendersonville, TN with members in 38 states and 6 countries.
