MTI Spring Meeting is a MUST ATTEND

Two elements that are on every business owner’s mind are the uncertainty of the economy, and how to keep good people in an environment conducive to “job-hopping”.  At the MTI Spring Meeting in Hollywood, Florida, you will experience two days of sessions that will energize and inspire you on both topics, and it all takes place at one of the most amazing resorts in the country…The Diplomat Beach Resort & Spa.

MTI is excited to bring in Ken Gronbach, the nation’s leading speaker on demographics, and Jim Knight, one of the leading speakers nationally on building a workplace culture that rocks.  Ken’s opening keynote will share how the U.S. economy is at the beginning of the largest economic boom in our history.  This boom will drive heat treating company’s sales in both the U.S. and Canada for the next 15 to 20 years.  Jim Knight is the former worldwide corporate trainer for Hard Rock Café, and helped build a workplace culture that created one of the most energized brands in the world.

Along with Ken and Jim’s keynotes, you will engage in a panel discussion of heat treaters from MTI’s Technical Standards Committee on all of the changes in Nadcap, 2759, 2750, CQI-9, AS9100, and ASTM.  Specifications drive your quality.  This session will give you the inside track on what you need to know to maximize your audit success.  You will also participate in a very interactive session called, “He Said, She Said…What Suppliers and Heaters Have Always Wanted to Ask.”  In this interactive session, Doug Glenn from Heat Treat Today and Jim Orr from Penna Flame Industries will ask questions submitted by both suppliers and heat treaters, helping both sides understand the questions that they’ve always wanted to ask, but were afraid to ask.  This session always creates excitement.

The Spring Meeting general sessions are always complimented with high-energy evening networking events on both the opening and closing nights.  At these events you will be able to connect and share with owners and key executives from heat treaters and suppliers from across the U.S. and Canada.

The best part about the Spring Meeting is that you will be coming from snow and 30 degree temperatures, and entering into sunshine, sand, and 85+ degree temperatures.  Paradise in many members’ minds…don’t miss it!

The MTI hotel block at the Diplomat Resort will open on January 13th.  It will sell out fast, so don’t delay.  If you want a couple of days on the front or back end of the meeting, book even sooner.
