Below are full meeting details for the upcoming MTI Midwest Chapter Golf Tournament and Dinner Meeting.

ThunderHawk Golf Club is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr., course nestled on 228 beautiful acres of forest, marsh and prairie. It is the first public course in Illinois to achieve Audubon Signature certification. Golfweek named ThunderHawk among the 10 best municipal courses in the United States in 2009 and “Best in State” six years in a row. ZAGAT calls ThunderHawk one of “America’s Top Golf Courses”.

Meeting Schedule:

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Box Lunch & Warm Up

Get to the course early and enjoy a refreshing lunch while you hit the range and putting greens for practice.

1:30 pm—5:30 pm: Golf Tournament

This year’s tournament promises to be one of the funnest and exciting golf events ever for MTI.   This year members will play a 4-person scramble that will include each team being able to strategically use mulligans, throws and 3-foot strings to enhance their score.

5:45 pm – 6:30 pm: Networking Reception

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: RoundTable Discussion

MTI President, Judy Rudy from Queen City Steel Treating, will facilitate an interactive set of roundtables where members will discuss creative solutions to their top issues and challenges in contract review procedures, certification compliance, employee motivation, energy efficiencies and grants/rebates for installing new equipment.

7:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Dinner and Networking

Enjoy a tasty dinner and share your comments with members on the fun round of golf as well as roundtable discussions.
