Shale gas is natural gas that is found trapped within shale formations.  It has become an increasingly important source of natural gas in the United States since the start of this century, and interest has spread to potential gas shales in the rest of the world. In 2000 shale gas provided only 1% of U.S. natural gas production; by 2010 it was over 20% and the U.S. government’s Energy Information Administration predicts that by 2035, 46% of the United States’ natural gas supply will come from shale gas.  Tom Ihrig from Legacy Energy Group, MTI’s Official Energy Supplier, will share how this revolution will impact your energy strategy of the future.

6:25 pm – 7:15 pm  General Session:  The Keys to Quality and Compliance

Whether you are seeking to comply with new ISO 9001 standard, CQI-9, Nadcap or the New MediCred rules, they all have a focus on execution and detail when it comes to quality.  Bob Hill, President of Solar Atmospheres of Western PA, will share with you his experience to maximizing quality and audit performance.  Bob will also share details on the new rules coming soon on how heat treaters who provide services to the medical industry will be subject to Nadcap like audits in the near future.  You don’t want to miss this information.
