6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Welcome Networking Reception
Enjoy networking with the best minds in heat treating over cocktails. CEO's and top executives from heat treating companies from the Canadian and Atlantic Coast Chapters will be in attendance to share new ideas and solutions to challenges as heat treat sales continue to rise.
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm: Connection Dinner
After networking during the reception, members will have an opportunity to connect with others more in depth during a buffet style dinner.
Friday, June 19
9:00 am - 9:30 am: General Session - MTI and Your Future
MTI President, Jackie Peters from Peters' Heat Treating, and Tom Morrison CEO of MTI Management will provide an update on the various projects and enhancements MTI is working on to increase the value to members. You will learn how each of these programs add more productivity and profits to your company.
9:30 am - Noon: General Session: With Safety.... It Only Takes One
When it comes to safety, it is easy for a business to become content and not continually innovate and improve safety. As operations become more fast paced, fork lifts running around, gas and electric flying over head, it only takes one accident to put lives at risk and minimize a year's worth of growth. MTI's official safety consultant, Rick Kaletsky will share with you the latest safety requirements you need to know to help prevent unnecessary accidents from happening. Rick will use real life case studies he has been involved with at MTI member plants throughout his presentation to help you relate the information to your day to day operations and safety procedures.
1:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Golf at Thundering Waters
MTI has secured four tee times starting at 1:30 pm at the John Daly designed course, Thundering Waters. This is an amazing layout and a fun round for any level golfer. Once at lunch on the course, I'm sure some bets are sure to take place.
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm: Dinner on the Town - Members who stay over Friday night will enjoy a great night on the town in Niagara Falls. MTI will schedule a local restaurant for members to enjoy the local flavor of Niagara Falls as a group.
