Saturday, April 11 (SPOUSES AND GUESTS INVITED TO THESE SESSIONS)
8:00 am - 9:00 am: How to Understand and Connect With Generation Y & Z
This session will help you understand the myths and truths behind generational differences. It’s not enough to just tell someone of another generation, “just do it.” Managers need to understand who their employees really are and how to empower their skills to be innovative. Jeanna Mastrodicasa, Dean of Generational Studies at the University of Florida, will help you bridge the gap of understanding and how to tap into the next generation for everything.
9:00 am - 10:00 am: You Want Me to Do What and When and Dress How?
Moderated by Jeanna, two 20 year olds, late 30 year olds and 55+ year olds will openly discuss a variety of topics put forth by the audience. We all hear how generations think differently. Well, now you will see it in an open format where members will experience the varying views held by different generations. Should be quite an eye opener on all sides.
10:15 am - 11:45 am: The Lighter Side of Space Flight
Ever imagine what it was like to be sitting in the cockpit of a rocket as the countdown begins... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6... it must be a pretty exhilarating feeling. Mike Mullane was one of the first astronauts on Space Shuttle Discovery. In Mike’s session, he will share an amazing and funny journey of spaceflight. Using spectacular video and slides he will answer everyone’s space questions: What does a shuttle launch feel like?…How does an astronaut deal with the incredible fear of launch?… How do you sleep, bathe, eat, drink, etc.?
6:30 pm - 11:00 pm: Closing Night Reception, Dinner and Entertainment
After enjoying two days of educational sessions and seeing Orlando, enjoy dinner followed by the MTI Silent Party. You don't want to miss it. It is the perfect blend of entertainment for those who want to network and those who want to dance! Bring your camera because pictures are a must!
