3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Networking Reception

Enjoy the first hour networking with the best minds in heat treating while tasting the refreshing beverages of the Woodbine Entertainment Complex. Heat treaters from all over the Canadian Chapter will be in attendance to share new ideas and solutions to the challenges as heat treat sales continue to rise.

4:30 pm – 6:30 pm General Session:  If Disaster Strikes, Will It Kill Your Business?

In the last few years, emergencies and disasters have been damaging to businesses in their path.  Snow and ice storms, earthquakes, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes and shootings have made every business in America aware of the need to evaluate their emergency     disaster plan. The time to see if it is effective is NOT when disaster strikes. Do your        employees know exactly what to do?  Do you have proper procedures in place to minimize physical harm to those in your building? What are your response procedures for your customers or the press?

John Saunders, from Saunders Enterprises and board member of the International Association of Emergency Planners, will take you through an interactive session to share with you the keys to an effective disaster plan and what you should know if disaster strikes.

MTI President, Jim Roberts from Eclipse Combustion, and Tom Morrison, MTI CEO will update you on the exciting industry projects being worked on by MTI.

6:30 pm – 9:30 pm   Dinner and Reception

Members will enjoy the excitement of horse racing with the signature dinner and drinks of the Woodbine Entertainment Complex.  This is always a very exciting networking event.
