The first meeting of 2015 was held in California in January with roughly 32 people attending the meeting.  A dozen MTI members were in attendance with many of them authoring numerous aerospace specifications being rewritten.

The AMEC Committee is made up of primes and commercial heat treat members as well as suppliers.  The AMEC Committee has been working diligently on the AMS specifications over the past few years to get them completed and approved so they are available to all primes, suppliers, and heat treaters.

The discussion on AMS specifications was good and good progress was made throughout the meeting. The committee talked about wording changes needed, testing requirements, and definitions.  The following are all of the specifications that were discussed during the two-day meeting.
